KOLOMONI is a mobile and web application for savings and investments. It provides a secure, fast, and convenient way for an average man to access savings and investment products that are otherwise reserved for the elites. Your savings and investments attract interests, up to 15% per annum (exclusively on KOLOMONI). KoloMoni is designed to help users achieve their goals through SAVINGS and not too much loan.

On KoloMoni, you can save little amounts of money periodically (Daily, Weekly or Monthly) towards a specific goal.

KoloMoni is a digitalized version of the traditional Kolo (Piggybank) used for saving money in time past. It helps you stop excessive spending by letting you lock away funds you will not like to touch.

HOW CAN I REGISTER?

Registration is easy. Just have your Email Address, a valid phone number handy, then you are ready to go. Click SIGN UP on the board page, fill in your first name, last name, email address and a password and then click SIGN UP under the form. A welcome email will be sent to your Email address where you can click to verify for a LOGIN.

How Do I Save?

To start saving or to invest in KoloMoni,

  • Visit the website (www.kolomoni.ng) or Download the App on Google Playstore or IoS store to create an account.
  • Set your withdrawal account and withdrawal pin.
  • Select from a list of available savings products that suit your needs, enter the saving amount, indicate the saving tenure, frequency, and confirm your transaction.
  • Kindly note that the minimum amount you can save is N100 (One hundred Naira).

CAN I PAUSE MY AUTOMATIC SAVINGS?

Yes. Simple go to your plan savings, Click on settings and then change automatic debit to “Manual debit”

WHAT ARE THE AVAILABLE SAVINGS PLAN ON KOLOMONI?

  1. My KoloMoni: This is a Savings plan that allows you save for at least 3 months with an interest rate of up to 12% (per annum)
  2. My KopaMoni: This is a specialized plan for Youth Corps members that allows saving with an interest rate of up to 13% (per annum)
  3. Target Savings: With Target Savings, you can save to achieve your specific goals. For example, Summertime Santorini vacation with bae or buying your dream car.
  4. Fixed Deposit: Enjoy up to 15% (per annum) interest rate on all your fixed deposits.
  5. Group Savings: Don't be the one in your group that won't allow your friends say 'All my guys are ballerz' With KoloMoni, you can achieve far greater goals by inviting friends, family and colleagues to save with you.

HOW SAFE IS MY MONEY?

Meristem Trustees holds all invested assets on behalf of savers. This makes your money absolutely safe. Meristem trusties are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Your funds are insured.

HOW DO I FUND MY ACCOUNT?

You can either fund your account via the following means:

  • With your debit card. Cards allowed include Verve, Mastercard, Visa
  • GTB *737# code
  • Bank transfer

HOW DO I INVEST IN FIXED DEPOSIT?

Just like savings, select fixed deposit from the drop-down icon and provide the necessary details which include the amount you are investing with the fixing tenure i.e., the maturity date for the investment, then confirm your transaction. Note, the minimum amount you can fix is #50,000 (Fifty thousand naira).

HOW DO I WITHDRAW MY MONEY?

Provide your bank account details, enter the amount you wish to withdraw, provide the secret answer to your secret question when required, and confirm the transaction.

CAN I MAKE THIRD-PARTY TRANSFER?

No! You can only send money to an account linked to your BVN. Such a measure is put in place to make your account secured.

CAN I WITHDRAW MY SAVINGS OR LIQUIDATE MY INVESTMENT BEFORE THE TERMINAL DATE?

Withdrawal before Terminal date is not encouraged because this App is designed to help you set targets and imbibe a committed saving culture. But in exceptional cases, you can call the help contact, but you will be charged for such withdrawal.

IF I FORGOT MY PASSWORD, HOW DO I RETRIEVE IT?

Launch KOLOMONI App, input your Phone Number or Email Address and click on Forgot Password. A password reset link will be sent to your email address.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY PHONE GOT STOLEN?

KOLOMONI installed on your phone is secured, so your money will be safe. In case you misplace your phone,

  • Install KOLOMONI on another device and log in.
  • Click settings on the dashboard, then change your password
  • Go through your transaction history to be sure if it has not been tampered with.
  • Notify us if you notice any issues.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO ANOTHER SMARTPHONE?

Simple! Kindly put a call through to us stating the phone number linked to the account to avoid intrusion.
